Whilst there is nothing wrong with lazing on a beach with a strawberry daiquiri and a good book, after a few years of holidaying in beach resorts you may start to feel that all your holidays start to blend into one. You know the food’s good and you’re guaranteed sunshine but did you really come home feeling like you’d had a break from ‘the norm’ – or was your holiday ‘the norm’?
